Indoor Meetings Programme 2009-2010

Will members please note:
All meetings including the AGM, will start at 7.30 pm. Entry fee is £1 for members, £1-50 for non-members including refreshments. Joint meeting with the Buxton Field Club will be free. AGM will be free.
Reminders, more details, and any alterations will appear in the appropriate Bulletins.
Make sure to check, so as to avoid wasted journeys and/or disappointment.
The meetings are a good chance to get to know other members of the Society, and find out what's happening in the county and further afield, as well as to enjoy the main event.

Methodist Church Rooms, Buxton

Martin Butler - "Tigers to the Taj" - a trip to northern India's tiger reserves and bird-watching sites. Entry is free for DOS members and Buxton Field Club always honour us with bountiful supplies of free refreshments.

If you intend going to this meeting please note that there is a diversion on the A6 via the A5270 linking it with A515 Ashbourne to Buxton Rd. at Brierlow Bar. Derby members should consider using the Via Gellia A5012 at Cromford taking them up to the A515 at the Newhaven., turn right, on to Buxton and the Market Place, where we meet at the Methodist Church Hall.
