The main gate is on the minor road between Walton-on-Trent and Stapenhill, near Burton-upon-Trent

Leader: Alan Wragg - Meet in the car park 7:20am for a prompt 7:30am start Whisby Nature Park lies on the south-western outskirts of Lincoln. Expect to see Nightingales and many spring warblers, The Park has brown tourist signs from the A46 Travel time from Derby is around one hour.

Arnfield Reservoir and Swallows Wood
Leader: Peter Carefoot - Meet 8:15am for prompt 8:30am start Swallows Wood is a nature reserve north of Arnfield Reservoir bordering farmed moorland. TThe walk will take in some pastures through to Arnfield settlement and back to the fishery. Here the shop has toilets for the disabled and refreshments including excellent coffee. The walk will be a leisurely stroll of about 2 miles. Coombes Valley RSPB
Leader: Deb Booler - Meet at 8:15am for a prompt 8:30am start at the Visitor Centre for a trip which will last roughly three hours. Coombes Valley RSPB Reserve is a delightful reserve set in mature oak woodland and in the spring it is an excellent place to see and hear Pied Flycatcher and Redstart
